I often get asked ” how often do we need our boiler servicing” I reply  ”every year according to the gas regs”. The most interesting reply is along the lines of oh it’s a newer one so should be ok for a few years. Now try telling that to the two recent Glowworm condensing boilers I’ve seen that haven’t been looked at for over 5 years, both have older burner seals in that have perished and the heat from burnerleaking has melted a lot of internal parts, on occasion the boilers have needed replacements.
